embodied practice in times of uncertainty
Week Long Creative Workshop JULY 3 - 8, 2022 at Alfred University, Alfred, NY
In these swiftly changing times, how can we sharpen our expressive capacity, honoring our creative processes with curiosity, rigor, and play? This workshop is rooted in gentle somatic movement adaptable for any body, while also using mediums of sounding, writing, and drawing. Sharpening our improvisational skills through various solo and group movement explorations, we will focus on themes of chance, emergence, witnessing (self/other/community/environment) and more. All levels welcome; beginners encouraged.
